Kelani Larsen

Kelani Larsen is a musician, educator, and mother.  She has studied music at LCC and is a founding member of the band “The Ovulators”, who won Eugene Weekly’s “Best Local Rock Band” of 2005 and starred in two runs of the rock musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”. Kelani has also gained a knowledge of basic sign language through working with children with disabilities in the 4J school district and collected a large repertoire of circle time songs. Drawing on her passions and experiences, Kelani developed Baby Pop Music, an interactive singing and signing playgroup for babies and their caretakers.

Baby Pop Music gives families support in learning the stress relieving tools of singing and using sign language. Parenting is so much more fun with tools under your belt!
Baby Pop Music offers a fun environment to interact with other families through singing and dancing together with small group classes multiple times a week. The in person classes are developed for infants through five year old children.

To sign up for a small group class in Eugene, or ask any questions about the music program, please fill out our Music Program Interest Form, and a Team member will respond shortly.  Daisy's Sing & Sign classes at the Fern Ridge Library are drop-in, no need to sign up.
The Daisy CHAIN Music program is working to accommodate the variety of family needs around masking protocols. We now offer classes with masking guidelines and without required masking. The Wednesday class and the Thursday at 10 AM class do not have masking requirements. The Thursday at 11 AM is required masking for participants over 5 years old. Please stay home, if you or any of your family members are feeling sick, have been exposed, or are having symptoms.
