​Almost exactly a year ago today, our music lead, Kelani, guided us in a “dream bigger” activity in which we imagined our dream space, and spoke about what being in it would *feel* like. Then, on our 10th birthday, we sent our wish for a dream space out into the universe, and today, we are so excited to tell you that our WISH HAS COME TRUE! We are SUPER close to having OUR OWN SPACE.

~Why is this so exciting!? Because we really need it!~

Daisy CHAIN has not had a space to call our own since the Summer of 2017. For a while, that worked for our needs. But that is no longer the case. As our team has grown and continues to grow, so too does our capacity to serve the community. With 26 staff members plus volunteers, we are serving over 650 clients a year. A building is just the container we need as we enter this next decade, operating and connecting with our communities at a deeper and wider level than we ever have before.​

~But we'll need your help to make it happen~

We have a space we are about to sign a lease for, but some of our grant notifications are delayed. We want to start out ahead and have a jump on rent payments so that we can focus on settling in and serving clients right away! 

~And that's where you come in~

With your help, we can raise the funds to secure a 3 year lease for a whopping total of $222,000! That would cover the cost of 3 years rent, and guarantee our community a trauma-informed, accessible, nonjudgmental community space filled with FREE resources like bilingual doula services and IBCLC lactation support, Baby Pop family music classes, Nursing Nook drop-in lactation support, peer support with the Dandelion Street Team, education, and parenting/baby supplies. 

And in other exciting news, thanks to one of our generous funders, any donations given BEFORE NOVEMBER 30TH, up to $75,000, will be doubled!!! Plus they are wanting to see MORE donors making donations of ANY SIZE - so every $5 not only adds up, but also shows our funders the community WANTS THIS TOO!
